Overview of Parallel File System

Parallel file system is the main method of resolving I/O bottleneck.The function and general model of parallel file system are presented.From three different points of view,existing parallel file systems are classified.Five key technologies of designing a parallel system are analyzed in detail.Some representative parallel file systems are described and evaluated.Finally,the further work in this area is discussed.
