Design and Implementation of Informix Database Security Audit System

Database security audit is important to protect database system from insecurity.An Informix security audit system has been designed and implemented by analyzing the character format of Informix database audit log file.The system can recover database operation according to the process about user session,and constitute security rules that can provide different levels of alarm to the database operations.The structure with separate collector and analyzer is adopted in this system,which is able to deal with several log data files synchronously and has well universality and expansibility.The analysis results are stored with the format of XML file.According to the experiment results,real time audit of Informix database operations are completed very well in this system.
