Petrich,M.defined kernels and traces of congruences and described the congruences on inverse semigroups by means of them .Gomes defined kernels and hypertraces of congruences, and described the R unipotent congruences on regular semigroup by means of their kernels and hyper traces .This paper describes another kind of important congruences on a regular semigroup,i,e.rectangular group congruences.
