Evaluation of Rock Slope Stability Based on Fisher Discriminant Analysis Method

On the basis of the Chinese Slope Mass Rating(CSMR) system,a discriminant analysis model for estimating the rock slope stability is established,including combined indice which reflect the factors influencing rock slope stability,such as rock quality,structural faces of rock masses and slope geometry properties.Linear discriminant function is obtained through training a large amount of rock slope enginee ring cases.The results of analysis show that the Fisher discriminant analysis model can accurately reflect the effect of CSMR system factors on slope safety factor,and could be effectively used to predict the safety of rock slope with high accuracy.
