Scale Analysis in Hydrology

Firstly,the importance of scale analysis is addressed.Then,several new approaches to scale analysis are discussed.Namely they are 1)scale analysis based on fractal theory;2)scale analysis based on chaotic theory;3)scale analysis based on stochastic dissaggregation;4)scale analysis based on wavelet principle.Finally,the prospect of the analysis is described.
