MULTI-SENSOR DECISION FUSION METHOD AND ITS APPLICATION TO ELECTROMAGNETIC TESTINg

The principle and main methods of multi-sensor decision fusion technology were presented. The Neyman-Pearson (N-P) test-based decision fusion method and Dempster-Shafer (D-S) evidence theory-based decision fusion method were analyzed in detail. Examples for its application to magnetic flux leakage testing and eddy current testing were also given and the results showed that multi-sensor decision fusion technology made full use of information and was high in reliability and robustness.
