The Improved Scheme for Error Resilient Audio Streaming of Perceptually Coded

This paper presents some concepts on perceptually coded. The principle and critical methodes of our earlier system are also summarized. Then novel extensions to our earlier system for streaming perceptual coded audio are proposed. This new scheme is applied into an RTP-based test system for performance evaluation. Simulation results have shown that the improved streaming system is more robust against packet losses in comparison with conventional methods.
