BOLTZMANN MACHINE AND ADAPTIVE PATTERN RECOGNITION

The principle of a massively parallel computing model--Boltzmann Machine (BM), its learning process, simulated annealing algorithm, and its application to image processing and pattern recognition are surveyed in this paper. The relation between adaptive pattern recognition algorithm and the learning process of BM is also discussed briefly.
