Two Joint Optimizations of Downlink Beam Forming of Smart Antenna and Joint Transmit Theorem

This paper discusses two joint optimization schemes of Downlink beam forming of smart antenna (SA) and joint transmit (JT) based on different theorem. It first presents a model of TD-SCDMA downlink adopting SA, and on the basis of the model, gives two joint optimization algorithms based on different theorem. And then the weight vectors of joint optimization problem are derived. Finally the feasibilities and availabilities of the two schemes are simulated on TD-SCDMA system,and the two schemes are compared and analyzed. The two schemes can not only restrain multi-ueser access interference in the main beam of smart antennas, but also reduce complexity of mobile station.
