Huaqing Liang · Computers & Security · 2009
The paper introduces the theory of connecting to the Internet by means of NAT boxes and great importance of detecting NATs. And then presents a new scheme of detecting that registering the hosts’ Cookie ID when they located to a famous website. If any of these Internet addresses had more than one Cookie ID of the same website, then the num of the Cookie ID is just the same with the num of hosts under the Internet address. Compared with other techniques, the new scheme has the properties of more exactness and stability.
