Wireless sensor network is a novel technology, and can be applied to both abominable and military environments. How to prolong the lifetime for wireless sensor networks is a key.The basic architecture of wireless sensor networks and the energy-efficient characteristics of two basic routing protocols are introduced and an energy-efficient routing protocol model which can reduce the energy consume is propounded and the lifetime of wireless sensor network system is prolonged. Finally, the experimental results are given.
