Application of HDMI Video Interface Technology in Color FED

Specification of high definition multimedial interface HDMI was introduced.The internal structure,operation rules of the chip and the application of FED video driving circuit were discussed in detail. A project of interface circuit was introduced, which was able to provide excellent digital video source.The project of interface circuit was used in 63.5 cm color FED, and has provided excellent video source and supports resolution up to UXGA. The system of the driving circuit that could display VGA video images was thus fabricated. The sample with screen brightness about 400 cd/m2, contrast ratio 1 010∶1, 256 circuit gray scale and 63.5 cm display size was obtained.
