Application of polyimide resin in aramid paper-based materials

In this experiment was studied the effect of solvent-based polyimide resin and water-emulsified polyimide resin on strength of aramid paper,the result between the two resins was compared. The result shows that the strength of aramid paper can be improved observably by impregnation with either solvent-based polyimide resin or wateremulsified polyimide resin. The performance of aramid paper by impregnation with solvent-based polyimide resin is higher than wateremulsifi ed polyimide resin.
