Research of Iris Recognition algorithm

In order to improve the speed and accuracy of iris recognition,a new iris image balance algorithm is developed:Histogram equalization and part contrast enhancement are combined to adjust development range and enhance the part contrast.Zero spectral moment filters were used to decompose the pre-processing iris image for getting more exact iris texture features.The whole iris recognition process requires less 1.3s and achieves an identification rate of 97.25%.it can be used in a personal identification system.
