Research on Application of Support Vector Machines in Network Fault Diagnosis

The support vector machine is a kind of novel machine learning method to solve the nonlinear and high dimension problem with small sample set, and it provides a new approach to develop the intelligent network fault diagnosis. In this paper, the basic theory of support vector is introduced. Experimentation with the network data from the laboratorial network is conducted and the experimental process and results are analyzed.
