Design and Implementation of SPI Flash Controller based on FPGA

This paper introduces the application of FPGA in the testing system of SPI Flash chip.As the SPI Flash chip itself has many functional instrucitons,it is very difficult to operate the chip directly.Insteadly,the use of FPGA in the SPI Flash controller makes it convenient to do operations with the SPI Flash,such as:reading,writing,erasing,refreshing and precharging.So we can test the stability of the chip quickly and accurately and provide an exact judging basis for manufacturers and users.We use Verilog HDL to implement this controller,and get simulation results with Modelsim.
