Combined Orthonormal Wavelet Packets

In this paper, our objective is to exhibit the construction COWP(Combined Orthonormal Wavelet Packets) with scale factor a=4. Compared with traditional wavelet packets, COWP have not only better frequency localization, but also waveshape variation. COWP with scale factor a(a2,a∈Z) is proposed, too.
