THE CAUSE OF SEQUENCE AND SEQUENCE STRATIGRAPHIC FRAMEWORK

The cause of sequence formation should be contacted with sedimentary basic-level change, which is result of global sea-level change, tectonic uplift and subside, sediment supply and climate synthetical action. Based on discussing about isotape age, biostratigraphic correlation, cause of sequence formation, sequence stratigraphic correlation and sequence boundary, sequence stratigraphic framework can not be regarded as isochronous, so it can not be regarded as the standard of global correlation, it reflects the spreading rule of sedimental action and sedimental strata in three-dimensional space.
