Timeliness Model of Effectiveness of Weapon System and Its Applications

Several methods for assessing the effectiveness of weapon systems were summarized and their characteristics were analyzed. The relationship between effectiveness and time was built through quantitative and qualitative analysis. A forecasting formula of weapon life cycle was derived according to the timeliness model of effectiveness of weapon system. Based on the cost effectiveness analysis, a new renewal model of weapon system was put forward. Compared with other models, this one proves to be more reasonable with an example.
