A Study of the Exception Handling Techniques in VB.NET

This paper discusses the error handling techniques in VB 6.0 by using On Error and Resume statements and Error objects, and the exception handling techniques in VB.NET by using Try...Catch...Finally statements and Exception classes or objects, and makes a comparison between non-structured and structured exception handling techniques, and illustrates how to apply the exception handling techniques to developing the applications in VB.NET by taking some examples.
