The Design and Implementation of the BESIII Offline Data Management System

The Beijing Spectrometer Ⅲ(BESⅢ) is a general-purpose detector at Beijing Electron Positron Collider Ⅱ(BEPCⅡ) for theτ-charm physics study and the experiment will produce massive data in the magnitude of PB.It mainly studies data management for the BESⅢ offline data processing and analysis.Firstly,it analyses the requirements of the offline data management.Then,it describes the design of the overall software architecture and implementation of various system modules based on J2EE and Web technologies.Finally,it presents the hardware components,software deployment and test results for the BESⅢ offline data management system.
