A strategy for optimizing the coverage of dynamic changes of target points in WSN is discussed. To solve the insufficiency of some high node redundancy rate of traditional physical coverage,a new model of information coverage is applied, aiming to realize monitoring target points with the application of multiple sensor nodes.Besides, failure probability in motoring caused by various interference factors within the dynamic changes of target points is also taken into consideration, and an energy-efficient research algorithm of dynamic changes of target points in WSN is put forward. In this algorithm, the best linear unbiased estimation is used to find out all feasible information coverage units so as to choose monitoring nodes on basis of optimization function of energy consumption index and failure probability. While at the same time, based on the greatest network failure probability set by the users, coverage sets are constructed. The constructed coverage sets are then scheduled and only one is activated in order at any period of time to do the monitoring. It is demonstrated in the simulation results that this method extends the network lifetime, improves monitoring accuracy, reduces the node redundancy rate and realizes energy-efficient optimization of dynamic changes of target points.
