Performance Analysis of Service Platform with Unstructured Supplementary Service Data

Unstructured supplementary service data(USSD) is a new data service defined by ETSI based on the globle system mobile(GSM) network.Aiming at providing evaluation means for the service performance of USSD service platform,the performance model is built by the use of queueing network.The pre-paid replenish service deployed on the USSD service platform was analyzed through using the approximate mean value analysis algorithm.These metrics help to find the bottleneck of the system and improve the quality of service.Finally,OPNET simulation verified the accuracy of this model.
