VHDL Implementation of the Jamming Signal Based on DDS Technology

VHDL is a kind of language of hardware description.It is used to describe the function of cir- cuit hardware,the connection relationship of signal and the timing relationship.So,it is applied widely in the field of electronic engineering.DDS (Direct Digital Frequency Synthesizer) technology introduces the ad- vanced theory and method of digital processing into frequency synthesis.It is a new technology.The funda- mental principle and modulation characteristics of DDS are introduced in this paper.Besides,we implemented DDS by programming in VHDL language.More over,we designed and implemented a sort of linear FM signal based on DDS technology.Then,the simulation result of the main part of system is presented,and the correct- ness of design is validated.
