A Study of Integration between GIS and GIS-based Model Based on Web Services

The status and problems of the integration between GIS and GIS-based Model (GBModel) is analyzed.The method of integration between GIS and GBModel is proposed based on Web Services.GBM services architecture based on RM_-ODP and the relationship with OpenGIS's are analyzed.The integrated services train style,the integrated procedure and the developed flow are discussed between GBM services and GIS.Taking the Modern Catchment Geomorphic Evolution Model(MCGEM)as an example,the integration experiment is implemented,and the results demonstrated the method proposed in this paper is right.
