An Effective Combination Rule of Evidence Theory in Situation Assessment

The analysis of the battlefield situations is the basis of command decision,and situation assessment is one of the most important components in C4ISR data fusion systems.Considering that the importance of different evidences is different in situation assessment,a new evidence combination method is presented by introducing evidence weight coefficient.In this improved method,the importance of the evidences is calculated.Experiments showed that this method can improve the rationality and reliability of evidence combination in situation assessment,and guarantee better result.
