Back-end Design and Verification of Floating-point Calculator

The numeric data processor(NDP) has developed for many years,but in China,the research on this field is rare because of the difficulty and blockage of xx87.Our research goal is to design and implement a floatingpoint coprocessor XTY-87 compatible with xx87 in ISA and electrical characteristics by adopting new process of 0.18μm CMOS technology.We build the final layout file after the design flows such as floorplan,place and route by using Astro which is the place and route tools of Synopsys.We translate the netlist to GDSII after layout design.
