Modeling of dynamic tree for GIS's application

Trees are dynamic entity with the characteristics of growing and seasonal-changing.The current tree-models used in GIS are mostly based on static pictures.Static pictures can't reflect trees' dynamic feature.A dynamic tree model based on timed L-system for GIS is presented.This model is used to simulate trees' different growth phase and seasonal changing.This model is stored as L-system and the storage cost is very small so it can be used widely in GIS applications.
