Analysis on Radar Receiver Digitalization

The practice has proven that the radar digital receiver has more advantages on circuit structure and performance compared to the analog receiver.This paper firstly introduces an intermediate frequency digital receiver of radar,and then expatiates on such techniques as direct digital frequency synthesis,direct intermediate frequency sampling and digital down-conversion,and it presents two implement methods for digital techniques.Also,it introduces the direct digital frequency synthesis chip AD9854.And this paper deduces optimal sampling frequency with given parameters,which makes the transition zone of lowpass filter be the widest.
