Comparative of personalized recommendation systems used in online shopping and e-learning

The popularization of Internet accelerates the rapid development of electronic commerce and e-learning.The high accessibility of personal information and the prominent increase of the interactivity among Internet users promote the adoption of personalized recommendation techniques and systems.The paper analyzes the different personalization needs at each stage of online shopping and e-learning,based on the inherent properties of online shopping and e-learning activities,contrasts the personalized recommendation systems used in these two contexts,and proposes several hypothesizes.The paper concludes with an adaptability analysis of several kinds of commonly used recommended techniques for online shopping and e-learning environment.
