BH-3hBAC: A Stable Clustering Scheme in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks
Bin Zeng · Jisuanji fangzhen · 2008
Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET) is a kind of novel wireless network, which does not need basic infrastructure support. As a method that can improve the scalability of the MANET, Clustering has been widely used in MANET. A stable clustering scheme BH-3hBAC is proposed, which introduced the backup of the cluster headers in traditional clustering scheme 3hBAC. Simulation results show that the Average Coverage Rate, the Average Life Time of Clusters and the Membership Time of Clusters are increased dramatically. The stability of clustering and the network performance has been improved prominently with the new scheme.
