Research on Energy Consumption Control Performance of MAC Protocol in Wireless Sensor Networks

In order to research the requirements of energy consumption in Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs),a Media Access Control(MAC) protocol in WSNs is proposed,which abstracts the different application scenes.Simulation platform of WSNs based on OPNET is set up.The performances of energy consumption and timelag in different application scenes are tested.Experimental results show that all kinds of MAC protocols can provide better performances in each application scene,but all the performances are not best.
