A Modeling Method of MAS Based on Extended UML

Since the connotation of is consistent with that of object, it is a promising way to model multi-agent systems (MAS) by making use of the object-oriented technology. After analyzing UML's basic modeling theory and MAS' organization based modeling thinking, we give a modeling method of MAS based on extended UML in three aspects, i.e., the definition of roles in an agent organization, the depiction of its static structure and the description of dynamic behaviors. Along with the method, a distributed logistics management system is analyzed as an example.
