The Relation of Involution and Special Elements in Involutive Quantales

The relation of involution and special elements in a involutive quantale is discussed. The special elements mainly refer to symmetric elements, left (right) pre-symmetric elements, left-sided (righr-sided, two-sided) elements, localic elements, regular elements of a quantale and compact and supercompact elements of a complete lattice.
