Zheng Qin · Journal of Tsinghua University(Science and Technology) · 2011

Science and technology project evaluation systems are an important part of e-government systems.Existing science and technology project evaluation systems have many problems such as the delineation of project groups, comparison of similar projects, and the presentation of assessment information. This paper introduces information processing techniques into the evaluation systems to help enhance the evaluation and improve the efficiency and evaluation quality. This paper focuses on information retrieval, text clustering, information visualization techniques, and how these techniques are applied to science and technology project evaluations.Specific proposals are given to successfully integrate information processing techniques into existing science and technology project evaluation systems.Tests show that these techniques enhance the evaluation system usability and improve the evaluation efficiency.
