The Pi~+ Calculus——An Extension of the Pi Calculus for Expressing Petri Nets

To study the expressiveness of Pi calculus,we use it to express Petri Net systems.It is proved that some sub-classes of Petri nets can be directly expressed in Pi calculus.However,for general Petri Net systems,it turns out to be difficult.Therefore,an extension of the Pi calculus,named Pi+calculus,is introduced by adding a multi-primitive synchronized communication mechanism to the one of original Pi calculus.This paper proves that all general Petri net systems can be expressed in Pi+Calculus.
