Evolutionary algorithms in noisy environments

The effects of environmental noise on evolutionary algorithms (EAs) were discussed. Through the study of the sphere test function, the performances of genetic algorithms (GAs) and evolution strategies (ESs) were evaluated. A method of resampling for restraining noises was introduced and the robustness of EAs in complex environments was improved.
