Design of carbon fiber-steel sucker rod string software

In this paper, vertical well mathematical model was built based on the simplified formula theory, and a software system to design carbon fiber-steel compound sucker rod was developed, which was programmed critically according to software engineering modularization theory. The software had many functions such as menu selection, full screen edition, Chinese operation guidance and various dialog message boxes. And it has been used to guide practical engineering with relatively high precision compared with on-field results.
