Relations of Ontology Languages and Analysis of Their Logic Basis

In order to accurately describe ontology,researchers have designed their own ontology specification languages respectively.It is an important task to see clearly relations between these languages as well as the advantages and disadvantages of these languages,and to select an appropriate language to describe ontology.Basic features of ontology specification languages are analyzed firstly,and their interrelations are summed up from the vertical angle.Finally,the logical foundation of ontology specification languages is analyzed.A theoretical basis is provided for selecting and learning ontology specification languages.
