Design and Implementation of an Optimized SI Engine in STB

This paper introduces an optimized scheme for SI engine. The scheme unifies the upward and downward interface of SI module, and modifies channel and EIT search and update engine. At the same time, on SI data query engine, it presents a dynamic intelligent way for memory allocation and explains the SDK interface for SI. Finally, the running result of the scheme is discussed.
