Losses of power transformers mainly include the excitation loss and load loss.Introduction was made to the reasons leading to the excitation loss and load loss of power transformers respectively.This paper disserted on the method to reduce the excitation loss and load loss of power transformers and the measure to reduce the stray loss of power transformers,which provide references for technical personnel's practical project operation.
