Development of Laboratory Information Management System Equipments Based on Barcode

Aimed at the management of the laboratory center in electronics information engineering department of Suzhou Vocational University,a brand-new information system meeting the need of university laboratory management was put forward.The function logic framework of laboratory information management system(LIMS) was designed based on the study of the basic operation flow in according with the actuality of management and operation of university.LIMS in conformity with the requirement of the laboratory center was carried out at the first stage,which comprises management of increase-equipments,management of remove-equipments,management of delete-equipments,management of personnel,management of equipments maintenance,dynamic query of equipments and making report of equipments.The new method,the barcode of a equipment corresponding with its picture,were studied and used to design the equipment information management system.The combining of picture and data provides direct feeling to query.
