Design of Initial Demodulator based on DVB-C

An initial demodulation circuit design based on DVB-C standard is introduced.Both simple sequencer and local carrier demodulation are contained in the initial demodulator and could be chosen by the register value which is controlled by the IIC bus.The design of direct digital frequency synthesizer(DDFS)in the way of local carrier demodulation is mainly introduced.ModelSim simulations and FPGA verifications indicate that this module could work well at the clock frequency of 28.8MHz and demodulate the digital signal to baseband.
