Listening to the Text: A Music Analysis Method Based on Audition

Nowadays many approaches and methods to achieve musical analysis are similar,starting with the text,analyzing their materials and structure( some analysts end here),and then putting the work into the context of society and history. But in fact,music is an aural art,and most important thing is what the audiences' ears ultimately perceive. Therefore,this paper aims to explore an analytical model based on listening,which places hearing first and the text as a supplement,so as to re-build the inner world of analysts revolved around information that they hear,and make judgments. Of course,none of these methods is superior to any other,and the method proposed by this paper only provides a different way for musical analysis.
