Processing of VDRL Images Based on Improved Multi-scale Watershed Algorithm

The traditional recognition of syphilis disease is inefficient and the diagnosis relies on the experiences of doctors.In order to overcome these shortcomings,the technology of image processing is applied to analyze the VDRL image.The VDRL image is segmented by the improved multi-scale watershed algorithm and the agglomerate granule is identified.This paper realizes the auto-computation and the distributing disciplinary statistic of area,consequently provides strong evidences for diagnosing syphilis disease.
