Application of OpenMP in hydrodynamic model

PGI Fortran7.1-2(developed by Portland Group)test platform to support OpenMP is applied in the parallel optimization test of a two-dimensional hydrodynamic model.The running time has been significantly reduced with the hydrodynamic model parallelled.After simulating the same example of flow calculation,the running-time required for serial computing and parallel serial computing is 5,336.781 s and 3,454.296 s respectively.The average parallel speedup ratio is 1.56,and an average parallel efficiency is 36%.The parallel computing has markedly improved the computing speed of the hydrodynamic model.
