A Design of EPP Interface for Virtual Instruments

The Enhanced Parallel Port(EPP) is compatible of the Standard Parallel Port(SPP) .Ittransmits data on bi- direc- tion by its data bus,its rates of data transmitis approximate to one of PC′s ISA bus.In this paper,it is discussed that there are main features of EPP interface and to design a EPP interface forvirtual instruments based CPL D.Itis provided with EPP interface functions in L ab Windows/CVI.
