On the "Cheng+Group Measure Word" Sentence Type

In the cheng+group measure sentence type,cheng is attached to the front of the group measure word,cheng has a selective relationship with group measure words.From the construction forms,cheng+group measure can be classified into basic form,overlapping forms and compound form.From the syntactical function,cheng+group measure is always in the predicate location and the adjunct location.It has strong rhyming nature and no self-sufficient nature in the predicate location,and strong describing nature and tending-toward-focus nature in the adjunct location.From the expressional function,cheng+group measure can emphasize the huge numbers with its basic forms,and show whole overlapping with its overlapping forms and compound forms.This study helps us have a better understanding of the group measure word and the relation between the number word and the measure word.
