A Line Feature Extraction Method for Online Palmprint Images Based on Morphological MedianWavelet

Stable, simple line features of online palmprint are the key issues for popularization the palmprint identification technology. Aiming at the characteristics of strong noise and low contrast, a line extraction method based on morphological wavelet and spatial directional selection template is proposed for online palmprint, by which lines can be effectively extracted out.
