Application of Local Wave Method in Mechanical Fault Diagnosis

According to the non-stationary characteristics of vibration signals from fault plant,a fault diagnosis approach based on local wave decomposition method is proposed.Discusses the theory of local wave decomposition and its physical significance,shows that it is suitable to non-stationary processes by selfadaptive shift process.The application of local wave decomposition shows that it can pick up the bearing weak vibration signal,stand out the fault feature of vibration signals in diagnosing bearings and improve the accuracy of the fault diagnosis.
